101 Things in 1001 Days

So far, I've seen 3 people start this mission for themselves. Each time, I read their list and I feel so lazy and there's so many things that have been on my "To Do" list for forever. So, I'm kicking myself in the rear and here goes my list!

Instead of starting a new blog (I can't handle another) I'm just posting my list here and I'll post updates within this blog as well, since this blog is about my life.

The Mission
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days is a decent period of time, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Start Date: June 1, 2009
End Date: February 27, 2012

Fuckityfuckfuckfuck

DH just got laid off.

EFFFF me!

Fortunately, my step-dad is one of his bosses so he told hm to call their main office Monday b/c there's other companies that have work where they'll probably place him and 4 other people (of the 16 they laid off today). Step-dad said they're hiring him back as soon as stuff opens up.

Let's hope there is an alternative company and that it's local and pays same or more than he's getting now! Wishful thinking, this I know.

WTF.

The evil wait

...can kiss my ass!

Since I took B6 this go-round, this cycle should end next Friday. But I'm 7 DPO now, so I'll probably test sooner just because I can barely frickin' stand it now! Please grant me the strength to wait until Monday to POAS so I won't waste a whole dolla dolla before at least 10 DPO.

Buttfuckingsomeofabitch....I have no patience.

It would have been nice to say 'yes.'

I just got asked if I was having a baby. Actually, the convo went...

Brave Cleaning Guy: "You're about to have a baby, huh?"

Me with red dagger eyes: "Huh. Nope, just fat. But thanks!"

He just walked away.

I admit this shirt is not all that flattering! Guess the 30 day shred isn't helping my lower gut much. Damn bloat. Is it bloat if it stays there all the time? lolz. Thanks Mr. Cleaning Guy! Made.my.day.

Totally forgot to mention...

WE'RE GOING ON A VACAY!!!

Whoo hoo!

The ILs have a condo in Michigan that they leave here to spend the summer every year. They offered to pay all our expenses for the week. We plan to go to a large music festival that they have there. They also bought a boat and a jetski in prep for our visit. Yes, you heard me correctly. THEY FREAKING BOUGHT A BOAT AND A JETSKI SINCE WE'RE GOING TO COME. They go every year and are just now buying these. I kinda feel bad, but I enjoy a free ride...it's not like we asked. They begged.

A friend of theirs lives nearby and he offered to help us with designing our house. ::hypervenilates:: Free home design. Must.prepare.all.ideas.NOW!!!

So, another month of the 30 day shred or I will be looking like overstuffed sausage in my tankini. Joy.

::please let me be pg to use as an excuse::

Just joking....but not really!

From DH this morning...

The thermometer is on vacay

I'm on CD 7. Period has been over for the past 2 days. I haven't touched my thermometer this cycle yet. I think I don't want to. We're considering the sex.all.the.time route, but I'm scared. I feel like I have to give it all we've got. I think I'll still use OPKs, so with that and sex everyday, is there really any need to temp? ::sigh:: I don't know.

Thoughts?
